It’s time to film, and the queens head to the set where they are met by their directors Ru and this week’s special guest, writer and director Janicza Bravo. Trinity checks in on Jinkx and apologizes for not giving her any of the roles she wanted, but Jinkx says she’s ok and she’ll make sure she still shines in her small role. Jaida and Yvie talk logistics with winning this challenge with a lot of great actors in the group. Raja is thrilled with the aesthetic of her role, and can’t wait to roll her eyes through the filming.
The Viv is chuffed that she got her first choice role and has BIG plans for how she’ll play it.
The two audition for the group, and while Jinkx is better for the role, the twinner alliance pushes through and the role is given to Monét. There’s a bit of a tussle for one of the roles between Jinkx and Monét.
Everyone heads over to the couches to read through the script and pick their roles. Since Trinity won last week’s challenge she’ll be assigning the roles. For this week’s maxi they’ll be starring in a new cult classic Santa’s School for Girls, which is part holiday flick, part slasher, and part teen comedy. Ru interrupts to tell the queens what’s in store for this week’s main challenge. It’s the next day and the queens enter the werk room and Jinkx is feeling optimistic about this week. The race for star pins is more intense than ever. Everyone does the math to calculate how many challenges they’ll need to be in the top for to make it in the finale, and the numbers aren’t looking good. Trinity tells her it came down to logistics, which Yvie accepts. The newly blocked Yvie enters the room and asks Trinity why she chose to block her. Trinity would have three stars if Shea hadn’t blocked her in episode one. This week’s episode starts in the werk room and Trinity is celebrating joining the two star club, and Jaida is celebrating her third (making her the first queen to have a trio). The competition is heating up this week with an acting challenge.
Jaida and Trinity took top toots for their legendary legend looks, but it was Trinity who got top queen of the week and bestowed the platinum plunger onto Yvie, making her ineligible to receive her third star pin during this week’s challenge. The Vivienne was feeling a little regret for blocking Jinkx, as we all know design challenges are her one and only weakness. Last week our all winners all stars took to their sewing machines and hot glue guns in this season’s second design challenge.
